Measure the work. Not the person.

The short version

Root777 uses a small first-party measurement system to understand which public work is useful. It does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, analytics cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-site identity.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable the browser measurement code.

What is measured

• The page path and public page title.
• The referring hostname when the browser provides one, plus explicit UTM campaign labels.
• A coarse device class: desktop, tablet, or mobile.
• The country code Cloudflare attaches at the edge; Root777 does not save the visitor’s IP address or user-agent string in its analytics database.
• Time while the page is visible and the maximum reading depth reached.

Session boundaries

A random session identifier is kept in session storage for the life of the browser tab. It is not a cookie, does not follow you to other sites, and is not designed to identify a person across visits.

AI and crawler signals

Aggregate request information from Cloudflare is used to distinguish known search and AI crawler traffic from browser engagement. Crawler traffic is reported as machine readership, not as proof that an AI system cited or recommended a page.

Retention and access

Raw first-party page-view records are retained for up to 180 days. The dashboard is private and protected by identity-aware access controls. Analytics credentials are server-side secrets and are never sent to site visitors.

Product privacy

This policy covers the root777.com website. Mac Storage has a separate product privacy policy because the shipped app has a different data boundary and does not inherit website analytics behavior.
